Questions
How much does it cost to register a company in Hong Kong?
With OCTIS, from HK$4,475 for the first year, including the government incorporation fee and the first year's business registration fee. That is 10% below Sleek's published HK$4,973 for the same plan.
Can a foreigner own 100% of a Hong Kong company?
Yes. A Hong Kong private company can be wholly foreign-owned and its directors do not have to live in Hong Kong. It must have at least one director who is a natural person, a registered office in Hong Kong, and a company secretary who is a Hong Kong resident or a Hong Kong company. Non-resident plans start at HK$6,275.
What does a Hong Kong company have to file every year?
An annual return (NAR1) within 42 days after each anniversary of incorporation, a business registration renewal, audited financial statements with its profits tax return, and an employer's return each April if it has staff.
Is a bank account included?
No. Opening a bank account is between the company and the bank; we prepare the company documents banks ask for and can introduce you.
