Found cheaper? We match it — see conditions. Every service also carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Register it, and that line disappears — three costs, not one bundled number.

RM 1,010
SSM's own government fee — separate from anything OCTIS charges
Four things, one approval
PERSON
A separate legal person
The moment SSM approves it, the company becomes its own person in law — its own name, distinct from yours.
LIABILITY
A liability wall
What the company owes stops at what you put into it. Your own savings and assets sit outside that line.
STANDING
Its own standing to contract
It can hold a bank account, sign a lease, own property, enter a deal — in its own name, not yours.
CONTINUITY
Continuity beyond you
It keeps existing if you sell your shares, bring in a partner, or step back. It doesn't wind up with you.
+ none of this exists until SSM actually approves the application — reserving a name is not the same as being incorporated
+ it needs real information from you first: director and shareholder identities, a shareholding split, a proposed name SSM might reject — nothing here files itself without that
Whose debt it actually is
Same fact, read under two different names, before and after incorporation:
That's the entire mechanism incorporation buys. Everything else on this page — the fee, the filing, the plan afterward — exists to get you to that line and keep you the right side of it.
A business-name registration is not a company
Plenty of sole proprietors already have an SSM registration — for a business name, so they can trade under it. That registration doesn't create a separate legal person; it just says who's trading. The wall only goes up once SSM has registered an actual company, not a name.
Registering a business name under the Registration of Businesses Act 1956 identifies who is trading under that name; it does not, by itself, create a separate legal person. Separate legal personality specifically arises from registering a company under the Companies Act 2016. The exact statutory basis is being confirmed with legal before this page cites a specific provision.
The one question that decides this
What happens the day after the certificate arrives
This part, a competent formation agent and OCTIS both do the same way — the difference shows up the day the certificate is actually in hand:
What's already there the day the company exists
The actual sequence, not a marketing version of it:
SSM approves the incorporation
the Section 17 (Notice of Registration) issues — the company now legally exists
Same day, same account
the record that was just created — directors, shareholders — is already the secretarial file, not a fresh one opened somewhere else
Inside the 30-day statutory window
a licensed company secretary is appointed from that same account — nothing re-typed to a second provider
From day one
the registered address, statutory registers and compliance calendar are already live, not set up later
The moment the guarantee actually turns on
This is the actual Appendix condition: the guarantee runs until we lodge your incorporation application with SSM, not a day longer, because that's the point the fee is committed.
What SSM's own fee costs on top of it
RM 0
added by OCTIS to SSM's RM 1,010 fee. That line is exactly what SSM charges, passed through — our RM 200 is the separate line above it, never folded into theirs.
The one fee that's actually ours
Strip out SSM's government fee, and this is what incorporating through OCTIS itself costs:
Most formation agents quote one bundled number with SSM's fee already folded into their own, so there's no independent 'their fee alone' figure to line this up against — separating the two lines is what this page is arguing for.
The whole bill, in three lines
This is the total, not the headline. Add it up yourself:

Guarantee
30 days, full refund — until we lodge with SSM
Once your incorporation application is lodged, SSM's fee has been paid and the registration process has begun — the guarantee's cut-off has passed.
No lock-in on the plan
Cancel any month
The RM 200 incorporation fee is one-time. The monthly plan that follows can be cancelled any month — no separate notice period.
Not included
SSM's own RM 1,010 government fee
Charged directly by SSM, the same amount no matter who you incorporate through — not an OCTIS fee.
Not covered

No. Licensed professionals do the work. AI helps them work faster, and helps you understand and analyse your own company quickly.
The company was never the paperwork. It's the wall between what happens to the business and what happens to you.
RM 200 for the filing, RM 1,010 to SSM, then a plan from RM 80/month that keeps the wall standing. Nothing folded into anything else.
